What Supports are Funded by the NDIS?

The NDIS provides funding for a wide range of supports and services that are designed to meet the individual needs and goals of participants. Some examples of the types of supports that can be funded by the NDIS include:
- Daily personal activities, such as personal care and domestic assistance
- Mobility and communication aids, such as wheelchairs, hearing aids, and communication devices
- Therapeutic supports, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
- Home modifications, such as bathroom modifications, ramps, and handrails
- Employment-related supports, including job coaching and assistance with workplace modifications.
- Social and community participation, including support for social activities, hobbies, and community events.
- Transport to and from activities, appointments, and work
- Mental health supports, including counselling and therapy
